CHENREZIG IMMERSION
A 2.5-DAY COMMITMENT TO PERSONAL SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT
led by Tibetan Buddhist Monks of the Historic Gaden Shartse Monastery
This immersion is especially potent for everyone with a heartbeat.
In collaboration with the Sacred Arts of Tibet Tour, we are thrilled to announce this opportunity for committing yourself to multiple days of focused meditation practice.
This will be a sealed, private immersion devoted to personal spiritual development. We will sit together, practice together, eat together & experience the fruits of our dedication.
The Chenrezig practice is known for promoting a ripple effect of love, compassion and understanding.
It awakens clarity and decisiveness. It develops unshakable calmness.
Some words from our spiritual teacher:
“Chenrezig awakens clarity & decisiveness.
Failures are welcome. Don’t beat yourself up when things don’t work out. That’s the only way to learn, when there’s failure. It makes you realize [actualize & transform] all these different moods we have, like depression, etc. That’s the beauty of this teaching.
Wisdom has no price tag. Wisdom puts cryptocurrency to shame. Your life is your currency. Realizing the nature of your wrong-doing is just beautiful. By yourself [and your own effort], you are liberated from your wrong doing, wrong understanding, wrong view. That’s pure wisdom. Nothing to blame.
Disappointments are everywhere. It's very easy to understand this. If you are hungry, your thinking is affected. If you eat too much, your thinking is affected. Everything is affected when you're not balanced.
If you really want to get frustrated, go and stay in India for one month. But in this case, the teacher comes to us. You don’t have to look for the teacher.
Without attitude, you cannot progress.
Why is that so? So that you can realize. Attitude is not so healthy. And attitude IS healthy. Then you can respect your downfall & learn from it.
Opinions and suggestions are designed to help us, not confuse us. We have to decide if it’s true for ourselves when we listen to opinions and suggestions. If we decide it’s true for ourselves, we cannot blame. Opinions and suggestions are like scenarios. I've done this and it turned out like this. Once you hear it, you have to decide. Once you decide, you cannot blame anyone else.
This Chenrezig practice helps you stop being a weakling, and develop [unshakable] calmness.”

As part of the Sacred Arts of Tibet Tour:
The purpose of this tour is to share with all people the monks’ culture, as well as practices & paths to inner peace & compassion.
Accomplishments of previous tours have provided funds for construction of new buildings at Gaden Shartse, supported medical needs, teachers’ salaries & the day to day expenses of supporting the monastery.
This success is due to the help & generosity of everyone who support the tours. The monks of Gaden Shartse feel deeply indebted to their friends in the West who have given their time, effort & homes to make the tours possible. It is our every intention to make this tour abundant & successful for them!
