Did you catch The Season of Fire post on the SAN Center blog a couple of weeks ago? If not, you can ready it here.

You can actively support your Fire element by adding cooling foods to your diet. Fruits, vegetables, like cucumber, lettuce, cabbage, celery, turnips, watercress, sprouts, dandelion leaf, seaweeds, spinach, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts. And other cooling foods, like, kidney beans, tofu, mung beans, tempeh, clams, fish, and oysters. Fire season teas are peppermint, chrysanthemum, dandelion, + elderflower. Other drinks that are helpful are coconut milk and loooots of water with added fruit, mint or cucumber.
So we created a mouth watering Cooling Summer Salad to make sure we’re getting our dose of these perfect for Fire season foods.
Makes 2 Servings.
Ingredients
- 1 cucumber
- Sliced ½ cantaloupe cut into wedges
- 2 tbsp red onion, diced
- Handful of dandelion greens, cut into ribbons
- Sunflower Sprouts
- Feta Cheese
- Pink pepper, ground
- Fresh squeeze of lime juice
- Edible flowers
- LOTUSWEI Inspired Action Elixir + Mist
Method
In a large serving bowl or platter create your salad base with sliced cucumber + cantaloupe wedges. Next, add your flavors with diced red onions, dandelion greens, sunflower sprouts, feta cheese, and ground pink pepper. Add some pops of seasonal color with edible flowers (tearing the petals to make a floral confetti is a great way to incorporate some fun into your salad). Finish your salad with a splash of fresh lime juice, you can even add a little zest to the mix, and top with 5 drops of your LOTUSWEI Inspired Action Elixir.
Mist your salad with LOTUSWEI Inspired Action Aura Mist for a deeper sensory connection to your meal, adding notes of exotic pink pepper, cardamom + citrus!
Plate with love + enjoy.
